General

  • Quotes are free and you are under no obligation.
  • Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date on the quote.
  • A 50% deposit is required. A project will only start after the quote is signed and the deposit paid.
  • Completed artwork will be supplied on disk in format stated on quotation.
  • Information (word/txt), as well as logos and artwork (or photographs) to be used/adjusted must be electronically supplied, unless they are to be created as part of the artwork.
  • Changes must be requested in writing (email or fax).
  • Please ensure you have the copyright for all material supplied. Under no circumstances will WEEDOO, our designers or associates be held responsible for any copyright disputes.
  • If it becomes clear that material was provided without the required copyright, changes to a project (to remove illegal content) will be at the client's cost. WEEDOO does not take any responsibility for content supplied without proper copyright whatsoever.
  • The Date of Completion of a project is affected by feedback and receiving of content and timelines will be adjusted accordingly.
  • We cannot be held responsible for delays outside of our control, e.g. equipment failure, weather.
  • We have the right to use any designs created in promotional material for WEEDOO promotions / displays / portfolio.
  • Courier fees will be billed to the client.
  • Cheques are not accepted, cash only please.
  • Interest of 9% per month will automatically be charged on all completed artwork not paid for within 30 days.
  • If project is cancelled at any time, all fees up to that point of work will be calculated and invoiced. This is payable within 7 days of invoice date.
  • All work remains the property of WEEDOO until final payment is received.

Graphic Design

  • Images and logos supplied must be of high quality.
  • As WEEDOO does not handle printing, we will have no further involvement and you will enter into an agreement directly the printer of your own choice. However we will assist you in finding a printer if required.
  • Contact details for your printer must be supplied should you wish for us to be in direct contact with them in order to obtain their printing requirements.
  • Artwork of client choice, once payment has been made is property of the client. All preliminary designs presented remain the property of WEEDOO. Should you wish to purchase any preliminary designs presented, these will be charged separately.
  • A project will only be released once it has been proofed, signed and dated by the client. Therefore we take no responsibility for print errors.
  • Screen colours and digital proofs can vary from litho printing. To ensure colour and print quality it is the client's responsibility to request a colour proof from the printers.

Photography

  • Items for photography must be supplied to us on disk or by email.
  • We are not responsible for any delays caused by circumstances outside of our control, e.g. the weather, natural disasters etc.
  • Only digital photography is used.
  • Photography does not automatically include image manipulation, therefore, there may be additional charges. You will be notified if there are additional charges prior to the works been done.

 

Web Design and Development

  • Web package quotes do not include domain name registration or hosting.
  • We only use our own domain/hosting service provider. If you have purchased your domain/hosting from another provider, a transfer to  WEEDOO service provider is necessary prior to commencement of website.
  • Content must be supplied electronically, within 1 month of start of project.
  • A project will only be released/uploaded once it has been proofed, signed and dated by the client, therefore we take no responsibility for website content errors.
  • We endeavour to make websites that perform well in current major browsers, but cannot guarantee backward compatibility.
  • We cannot guarantee search positions or rankings of websites, but include basic search engine optimisation (seo) in the form of metatags, structure and basic content recommendations.

WEEDOO HOSTING

Service Level Guarantees

99.9% Network Uptime Guarantee
WEEDOO guarantees that your website(s) will be up and running at least 99.9% of the time during any 12-month period. This guarantee includes network and server uptime. However, we cannot be held responsible for upstream problems outside of our network and areas where WEEDOO has no direct influence, such as backbone provider failures, fiber-optic main line cuts, DNS or Registrar problems with subscribers’ domain names, routing problems between a client’s location and our data center. The uptime guarantee is also not applicable if the service interruption was caused by a natural or unnatural event that is not directly under the control (or jurisdiction) of WEEDOO. WEEDOO may temporarily deny or terminate the Service upon client’s failure to pay their charges at due time.

WEEDOO guarantees 99.9% network uptime and server stability. This, however, does not refer to problems stemming from:

a. Server Hardware Breakdown.

b. User error(s) or purposeful interruption(s) (e.g. if the client shuts his/her own server down, WEEDOO is not responsible for the downtime).

c. Failures due to software that is not explicitly supported by WEEDOO. Consequently, if a hardware crash provoked by the customer happens, WEEDOO has no responsibility for the resulting downtime.

Network Outages or Unexpected Downtime is any unplanned or unexpected interruption in the network availability due to hardware, software, network connectivity or data center problem, during which a 100% packet loss is experienced.

Scheduled Downtime is any scheduled interruption of the services for the purpose of network software/hardware upgrades, or replacement of any network equipment in order to be provided better service for the customers. Scheduled downtimes occur within pre-notified downtime periods, with as many warnings as possible sent via e-mail or posted in our news section minimum 24-hour in advance.

PRIVACY OF YOUR ACCOUNT
We consider your registration data and the content of all your accounts private and confidential. The header of the messages that you send will contain your name (e-mail address) and Internet Protocol (IP) address. We will not intentionally monitor or disclose any of your e-mail content or registration data unless we are required to do so:

· to enforce these Terms and Conditions

· by law

· to defend ourselves in any legal action

· to protect our property.

Since your password is essential for protecting your privacy, we encourage you to NOT share it with anyone and change it frequently. Additionally, you agree to respect the privacy and confidentiality of others.
